Greetings!
Well, this has been quite the year. We
thank you for your patience since we missed publishing
the Spring newsletter. But we have many new and
exciting announcements. First - my new workshop,
Lessons of Love, premiered with our
wonderful sponsor - Pattie Boden. Pattie is the
owner of the charming holistic pet store, The Animal
Connection in Charlottesville, VA. The workshop
was absolutely magical as you will read more about
from a few students.
We also have an enhanced Training Program to
offer in 2008. It will be a fabulously enriched
18 day program from 16 days. The Training
Program will continue to raise the standards of
excellence and credibility in the field of animal
communication producing some of the leading animal
communicators.
And there will be lots of new products and new
surprises to look forward to in
2008! |
| Tips on
Animal Communication |
Some tips I find
helpful:
Find your own space and time and make it
happen.
For noises that distract you, wear ear
plugs.
Believe in your own ability as much as you admire
other's abilities.
Adjacent to my pasture is a pasture full of cows
and amongst them is a miniature donkey named
Billy. Billy has the loudest and sweetest bray I
have ever heard. He is not people friendly and I
can understand why. I had noticed that Billy's
halter was growing into his nose. I spoke with
Billy's person and offered one of my own halters to
replace Billy's. With his help, we were able to
catch Billy and change his halter. I could tell
Billy was lonely. I always have carrots for my
horses and wanted to share and treat Billy as
well. I knew this was a perfect opportunity for
me to communicate with Billy. I took his picture
and had a session with him. I told him that when
he saw me at the barn I would treat him with carrots
if he would just bray for me. The next day, I
was at the barn and well...the braying began and it
hasn't stopped since. It was a great validation
for me. Whenever I doubt the possib ility of
communicating with animals, Billy almost daily reminds
me that communicating with animals is real.
Thank you Billy.

Call to Action
What will happen to your pets when you are
gone? If you have made provisions for their
care, you may be surprised to learn that most states
don't recognize the rights of pet owners to create
trusts for their animals. And there are no
federal laws either. A bill has been introduced
in Congress under the federal tax code to provide for
long-term care of beloved companion animals.

Rayna was a 13-14 year old
Rottweiler who had always been healthy and happy. She was old
for a Rottweiler but she was still the picture of
health.
Rayna loved her life and brought great joy to
her family.
She enjoyed looking out for everyone and making
sure they were all safe. Doug was her
special person, the one that she looked out for. And she
happily lived up to her name which meant
Queen.
Little by
little, Rayna started having trouble keeping her food
down. At
first, it happened occasionally and gradually became
an everyday occurrence. Doug took her
to several vets trying to diagnose the problem. No one could
come up with an answer. Rayna
continued to suffer bouts of vomiting. Doug was
really getting worried about her.

Dear Carol:
As part of my attempt to start the New Year off
right, I am writing notes of gratitude to various
people who have been especially giving, loving, and
helpful to me on my journey. Where do I
begin? My life has been so enriched since I
became your student over a year ago. The gift of
learning animal communication has so deepened my
understanding and compassion for my animals and
really, all living things as well. In addition
to this, as I have strengthened my own intuition
through this work, I have become more peaceful and
grounded in my daily life, and how wonderful this
is. It is as if by taking the time to learn this
skill, something clicked within my psyche allowing for
a greater harmony in many other areas of my life as
well. So I am very grateful for the work that
you do, and do so gracefully and beautifully - with
such joy, patience, compassion, professionalism and
amazing accuracy and skill. You are very
appreciated! I look forwa rd to working with you
again this year.

Through the Eyes of your Animals -
Learn the Lessons of Love
A significant effect of this workshop for me was
realizing my animals are in my life for reasons of
their own! I always viewed myself as their
caretaker, playmate, protector and provider of
unquestioning love...and only wanted their love and
companionship in return. I never thought there
was anything else! Now I realize they have their
own purposes: their own lessons to teach
me. Carol's seminar opened my eyes to these
lessons and has given me the opportunity to have a
richer and broader relationship with the animals in my
life.

Are all Animal
Communicators Pet Psychics?
My viewpoint on the subject, as expressed in my
book, The Language of Animals by Bantam Dell,
and taught in my workshops throughout the world has
been to keep things SIMPLE AND PURE. I belive
there is a big difference between communicator and
psychic. My belief is strong enough to have
turned down a 3-book deal from a publisher because all
3 books had the word psychic in the title and that
would be a direct conflict with my belief.
My philosophy has been this. Animal
Communication is a language of its own. Learning
to communicate with animals is analogous to learning a
foreign language like French, Italian, Spanish,
etc. It is a language that just comes in a
different package/form than what we are used to (as
hearing a person's voice and having their lips
move). An animal communicator has a direct
two-way conversation with an animal; just like a
person would communicate with another person -
SIMPLE. Even when the animal has passed on, you
can engage with the animal directly and have a
two-way conversation with the animal.
