• Carol Gurney is one of the most well respected Animal Communicators in the world and the first to offer a fully  comprehensive training program. Carol’s HeartTalk Program® has assisted thousands of people in enhancing their relationships with animals, as well as training many professionals in this ever-growing field.  The focus of Carol’s work is helping people understand that through their unconditional love, animals offer a direct reflection of those areas within ourselves that need nurturing

In l980, Carol faced a health crisis with her own cat. When a vet could find no answers, he recommended going to an animal communicator.  The experience was so revealing that she was inspired to learn all she could about animal communication. Her desire to improve the animal/human bond became the focus of her life.  She sold her business and developed the HeartTalk Program®, working as a professional Animal Communicator and Bodywork Therapist for Animals in 1986.

As a Communicator, Carol specializes in issues relating to behavioral and emotional disturbance, death and dying, and is one of the few communicators specializing in locating lost animals.  Her clientele and students come from all walks of life, whether they are simply curious about communication, or, are already in animal-related professions (such as veterinarians, breeders, trainers, chiropractors, to name a few). Carol’s techniques and guidance have enabled all of them to gain insight into their own fields and enhance their skills in communicating with animals. 

Carol is a truly gifted and natural teacher who creates a very unique environment in which to learn.  She provides a nurturing and safe place for people to let go of their fears of being wrong, and encourages people to speak freely of their experiences.  Carol has a genuine interest and caring for people and a gift for listening to what each student needs and then gently leading them on their way to the next step.  Her warmth and encouragement gives inspiration to everyone, allowing each person to recognize their   own special qualities.

Carol is a well-known lecturer, with audiences ranging from Rotary Clubs, breeding associations, bookstores to churches, national organizations, engaging the most skeptical audiences, deepening their awareness of animals’ well being and their profound connections to us.  She conducts over 50 workshops a year worldwide, with an increasing demand for her instructional videos and tapes, and she continues private  consultation services. Carol has been featured in many national publications as well as books about the subject of animal communication and has appeared on numerous national television and radio shows. The HeartTalk Program® is featured in Carol’s book, The Language of Animals; 7 Steps to Communicating with Animals, published by The Bantam Dell Publishing Group, a division of Random House, Inc.
